Building ONE Brand for Central Oklahoma's Transit Future
Central Oklahoma had a bold vision for the future of regional transportation. What it needed was a brand capable of bringing that vision to life. When the Regional Transportation Authority of Central Oklahoma (RTA) engaged AFFIRM, the organization was preparing to evolve from transit planning into a more visible, public-facing role. Together, we created ONE Transit, a new name, identity and communications platform designed to unite the region around a shared vision for the future of transportation.
The ask
The Regional Transportation Authority of Central Oklahoma came to AFFIRM looking to build greater awareness and understanding of its vision for regional transit. With limited brand recognition and fragmented communications, the organization needed a new public-facing identity and a clearer way to educate residents, businesses and community leaders about the future of transportation in Central Oklahoma.
The process
AFFIRM began with a brand and communications audit, stakeholder research and Brand Profile development. We then led the naming process and created ONE Transit, with ONE representing the three connected communities the system will serve: Oklahoma City, Norman and Edmond. We developed the logo, tagline and visual identity, bringing the brand to life through a new website, social media, e-newsletters, collateral, public outreach materials, brand awareness creative and conceptual renderings of future transit modes.
The result
ONE Transit launched in 2026 with a bold, cohesive brand and a complete communications platform built to support its next chapter. The new identity gives the organization a consistent and approachable way to introduce its vision, educate the region about future transit options and continue building its public presence across Central Oklahoma.
