Providing the tools for North American success and product launch
Hultafors Tools is a Swedish company that specializes in manufacturing high-quality hand tools for professional use. With a history dating back to 1883, Hultafors is renowned for producing durable, reliable tools designed for tradespeople in various industries, including construction, carpentry, and outdoor work. Their product range includes everything from axes, hammers, and measuring tapes to knives and utility tools. The company’s commitment to quality and innovation has made it a trusted brand among professionals worldwide.
The ask
AFFIRM was engaged to help Hultafors Tools to translate its brand to be more relevant for North American professional tradesmen, who are the end users of the company’s line of precision-engineered premium hand tools. We also developed campaign tactics to support the launch of the brand new line of Work Gear products.
The process
Within just a few months, we built the North American brand and established complete brand guidelines and standards, expanded and refreshed the Hultafors Tools catalog, completed in-use product photo shoots, a North American brand video, and supported work gear launch PR efforts.
The result
We designed the new look for Hultafors' trade show booth, which was first shown at the 2022 STAFDA show. The updated branding and product messaging have supported the Hultafors sales team in attracting interest from national retailers. A targeted national digital campaign was launched, featuring static and animated ads, along with streaming audio, to promote the new work gear and highlight the durability of Hultafors Tools. Our efforts also contributed to Hultafors' successful appearance at the 2023 World of Concrete.
