AFFIRM Re-awarded Long Island Rail Road Contract Through 2028
(Pewaukee, Wis.) AFFIRM Agency, a Wisconsin-based, full-service marketing and communications firm specializing in behavior change marketing, has been awarded a new two-year contract to continue its 20-year partnership supporting the Long Island Rail Road’s Transit Solutions Campaign to Increase Transit Usage on Long Island through 2028.
Transit Solutions promotes public transportation and pre-tax transit benefits to help reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality on Long Island. The program also supports Car Free Day Long Island, an annual September initiative that encourages residents, employees, and students to travel car-free or car-lite while also beginning to expand in Manhattan over the next two years.
Under the new contract, AFFIRM will build on the success of Transit Solutions’ “20 for 20” campaign, which celebrated the programs 20th anniversary by highlighting stories from 20 diverse program partners including employers, colleges, transit providers, and sustainability leaders. The next phase will expand the network to more than 30 influential partners and amplify their firsthand perspectives on the program’s impact.
AFFIRM will also help evolve Transit Solutions’ air quality outreach through the new Clean Commute & Air Quality Action Program. The initiative will equip participating employers, colleges, healthcare systems, municipalities, and community organizations, to activate air quality messaging across their own networks, extending the campaign’s reach far beyond traditional channels.
