AFFIRM’s Quade Attends nowHERE Design Conference as Keynote Speaker
(Pewaukee, Wis…April 3, 2017) AFFIRM Senior Graphic Designer and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point alumnus Ryan Quade attended the nowHERE Design Conference at his alma mater on March 31 as a keynote speaker. Quade’s presentation provided students with his well-rounded perspective of the design industry, tips on finding the perfect job, and advice on how to best advance a design career.
Quade has over ten years of experience spanning in-house, freelance, and agency design that has helped startup companies grow and resulted in award-winning statewide consumer campaigns, including AFFIRM’s DOSE OF REALITY: Prevent Prescription Painkiller Abuse in Wisconsin public education and awareness campaign, the recent BEST OF SHOW winner at the 2017 Bell Awards.
The nowhere Design Conference, a two-day inspirational event for design students from universities across the state, is hosted by the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Chapter at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. With three keynote speakers and workshops, the conference provides students with feedback and career advice from returning alumni. In past years, the nowhere Design Conference featured speakers including Chip Kidd, Tnop Design, Michael Gericke of Pentagram, Golby & Friends, Space 150, and Modern Species, among others.
