AFFIRM Adds Anne E. Schwartz as Business Development Director

Schwartz is a nationally recognized 26-year veteran print and broadcast journalist, author, and trainer on the subject of strategic communication and public relations for emergency management, legal and public safety professionals. In her role at AFFIRM, Schwartz will present local and regional organizations with the opportunities and benefits provided by AFFIRM in order to expand the agency’s client base. In addition, she will continue to provide training for law enforcement and prosecutors nationwide, as well as crisis communications planning and response through AFFIRM.
Schwartz most recently served as Director of Communications and Public Affairs for the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) under Attorney General Brad Schimel, where she was responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications for DOJ. Prior to that, she commanded the Office of Communications and Public Affairs at the Milwaukee Police Department. Schwartz is bilingual in Spanish and English, and is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism with a Bachelor of Journalism degree.
