Take Advantage of Facebook Grants and Business Hub
Because many small businesses have been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, owners are taking the impact on their businesses seriously and exploring resources that could help. Many proprietors have already sought out financial help through the Small Business Paycheck Protection Program.
While you wait for approval, keep in mind there are other programs to keep your business operating.
Last month, Facebook announced that it would give $40 million in grants to 10,000 U.S. small businesses that have been adversely affected by the coronavirus, offering a $4,000 grant for the recipients in the U.S. ($2500 cash, $1500 in optional ads credits) to help during this uncertain time.
The grant program spans 34 cities and is part of the $100 million grant program that was announced on March 17. A business does not need to be on Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp to apply. The grants help by assisting with rent costs, covering operational costs and connecting you with more customers.

In addition to the grants, Facebook also rolled out its Business Hub, spotlighting resources and recommendations to help small businesses stay on track. The Business Hub offers access to reliable information about COVID-19 to help companies stay up-to-date and proactive, including purchasing gift cards for small businesses.
