Dane County Regional Airport Wins Three ACI-NA Awards for Campaign Created by AFFIRM
(Pewaukee, WI…November 19, 2015) Dane County Regional Airport (https://www.msnairport.com/) won three awards at the Airports Council International – North America’s (ACI-NA) 2015 Excellence in Airport Marketing, Communications, and Customer Service Awards on November 10, 2015. These annual Awards recognize airports that have excelled in the areas of marketing and public relations during the previous year. The 2015 Awards were held during the ACI-NA Marketing & Communications Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.
MSN placed second in the prestigious Marketing Campaign category for the AFFIRM-developed WHO KNEW?! campaign featuring National Public Radio star and Madison resident Michael Feldman. The campaign launched in April 2015 and uses a humorous “quiz show” format to reveal all of the reasons why it’s better to fly out of MSN as compared to other regional airports. MSN also won second place awards in the Promotional Item and Radio Advertising categories for a WHO KNEW?! branded media kit in the form of a board game and a :60 second radio ad featuring Feldman quizzing real-life Madisonians about their airport knowledge.
