RTA – DuPage County Transit Marketing Campaign Driving Great Results
(November 9, 2015…Pewaukee, WI) The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) in Chicago launched a marketing campaign in January 2014, designed to inform suburban DuPage County residents about how they can better utilize transit for both work and entertainment. The results have been very positive so far with over 815,000 visitors to the campaign landing page and over 2.5 million total page views.
AFFIRM Agency developed the DuPage County Transit Marketing campaign for the RTA and implemented a number of tactics to drive County residents to www.RTAChicago.org/DuPage, which features a trip planner and other valuable information about transit options using Metra and Pace in DuPage County. To drive people to the website, AFFIRM designed and placed signage at DuPage County shopping malls, ran a digital online campaign, placed door hangers targeting homes living on strategic bus routes, placed print advertising in local publications, and posted a schedule of digital and vinyl outdoor advertisements.
