WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION’S “DRIVE SOBER” CAMPAIGN UNVEILS NEW TAGLINE AND MEDIA EFFORTS

(Pewaukee Wis… August 21, 2019) AFFIRM will continue its media planning and buying efforts for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER traffic safety campaign. In addition to TV, radio, and online advertising, the DRIVE SOBER messaging will be communicated through chalk art at Lambeau Field in late August.

AFFIRM’s DRIVE SOBER public service announcements feature some of Wisconsin’s top extreme athletes, who emphasize that if they wouldn’t do their stunts drunk, they certainly would never drive drunk. The advertisements also encourage Wisconsin drivers to download the DRIVE SOBER mobile app, which has helpful features such as a Designated Driver Selector and Find a Ride tool.

The DRIVE SOBER campaign is a part of the Wisconsin DOT’s “Zero in Wisconsin” initiative, which aims to reduce preventable deaths on Wisconsin roadways. The “Zero in Wisconsin” theme has been recently refreshed and has a new tagline: “Together We Can Save Lives.”

“We are thrilled to continue working with the Wisconsin DOT on this campaign,” said AFFIRM President Danny Mager. “We hope that our new chalk art messaging at Lambeau Field will encourage even more people to drive safely.”

The annual DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER Impaired Driving Enforcement Period runs from mid-August to Labor Day 2019. For more information, visit the Zero in Wisconsin website
