Dane County Regional Airport Launches WHO KNEW?! Campaign, Starring Michael Feldman

(Pewaukee, Wis…March 3, 2015) Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) in Madison, with the help of AFFIRM Agency (formerly Staples Marketing), has launched a new marketing campaign this week. The WHO KNEW?! campaign promotes the quality and convenience of flying out of MSN as compared to other airports, and it prominently features Wisconsin Public Radio personality and Madison-resident Michael Feldman as its spokesperson.

AFFIRM developed the “WHO KNEW?!” theme for the campaign as a takeoff on Feldman’s well-known radio quiz show “Whad’Ya Know?”. WHO KNEW?! educates audiences on MSN’s benefits using a “quiz show” format extended into media tactics such as streaming video, radio, outdoor, online and print. There is even a campaign-specific landing page where people can go and take the WHO KNEW?! quiz themselves to determine their level of knowledge about Madison’s award-winning airport:

“This is a really fun campaign that communicates how easy it is to use Dane County Regional Airport, which is still really one of Madison’s best-kept secrets,” said Danny Mager, AFFIRM Principal and Marketing Director. “Michael Feldman is hilarious and did a great job of working with us to produce our own unique quiz show promoting the airport! Now everyone will know not only how many weekly flights there are out of MSN, but that, according to one contestant, Frank Lloyd Wright sometimes danced without his shirt on at festivals.”
