AFFIRM Wins A Record Seventeen ADDY Awards in 2023
Large number of awards represents high-level work for clients in many categories
(Pewaukee, WI) AFFIRM Agency, a leading full service marketing and advertising firm based in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, won a record total of 17 ADDY awards, including three GOLD ADDYs, at the 2023 American Advertising Awards hosted in Madison on February 18, 2023. AFFIRM was awarded its largest total of ADDY awards in the history of the agency this year. This annual awards show is put on by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) and attracts almost 35,000 entries each year and is renowned locally and nationally.
AFFIRM won a GOLD ADDY for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT): Bobby Portis CONTROL YOUR DRIVE Integrated Media Public Service Campaign. This campaign was created to warn young male drivers in Milwaukee about the dangers of speeding and reckless driving with the goal of reducing crashes, injuries, and deaths on city streets. The campaign features Milwaukee Bucks basketball star and fan favorite Bobby Portis in his first-ever public service messaging partnership. AFFIRM was also awarded a SILVER ADDY for the TV spot created for the campaign.
AFFIRM won two GOLD ADDYs for work done for the City of Bloomington, Indiana’s GO BLOOMINGTON! program; one for the GO BLOOMINGTON Program Launch Integrated Media Public Service Campaign and the other for the GO BLOOMINGTON Program Website.. GO BLOOMINGTON! is a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) program that provides people with education on transportation alternatives for reducing single occupancy vehicles (SOV) on area roadways. AFFIRM designed the visual look and feel of this new brand from the ground up and built the new website. Gold ADDY Award-winning items are automatically forwarded on to the Regional Competition where, if they win Gold there, they are then forwarded on to Nationals.
AFFIRM won SILVER ADDYs for work done for Henry Vilas Zoo outdoor advertising, Dane County Regional Airport’s wrapped bus and scoreboard advertising, WisDOT animated CLICK OR TICKET TV spot featuring Donald Driver, and the agency’s own video reel of work. AFFIRM won BRASS ADDYs for design work on Hultafors Tools trade show booth and new North American brand/catalog, Milwaukee Urban Forestry Fund brand and materials, HammerHead Trenchless trade show exhibit, Levin Ginsburg Attorneys website redesign, Cincinnati METRO banner ads, and WisDOT Work Zone Safety TV commercial.
