Getting to Know AFFIRM 2.0

Streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO, etc., seem to be our first stop for TV shows and movies, more so than cable – cable? What? They also seem to be the topic of lunch time discussions. Like today, for example, 30 minutes were spent talking about the new Netflix Original, Stranger Things (side note: awesome show, highly recommend it). So I decided to see what everyone else in the office was interested in, but took it one step further:

If you could live in a book, TV show, or movie, what would it be?

Meaghan: Gilmore Girls. 100%. And yes, I’m totally stoked for the Gilmore Girls Revival (Nov. 25th in case you were wondering)

Karissa: Harry Potter. Hands down. If it’s a TV show – That 70’s Show

Danny: STAR TREK original series!

Amy: Either Gilmore Girls or Friends

Ryan: Game of Thrones!

Ingrid: I think I would go to school at Hogwarts and on breaks I would go home to Stars Hollow. Best of both worlds.

Cathy: Heaven help me, the first thing that came to mind is Friends.  How those 6 people could afford to live the way they did in NY is totally beyond me – they ate at all the best places, were never at work and yet rarely complained about money. My second choice would be Gilmore Girls.

Traci: Modern Family because it’s fun and quirky, but at the heart of the show, it’s love that holds everyone together…

Laura: I would live in Oz (as in the Wizard of Oz) – prior to Elphaba becoming the Wicked Witch of the East (via Wicked).

Emma: Though Mad Men is the truth (advertising’s golden age + the fashion!), it’s too cliché. So probably The Great Gatsby!
