Dane County Regional Airport Launches Daily Non-Stop Service to Los Angeles
(Pewaukee, Wis…March 27, 2019) Dane County Regional Airport (DCRA) will celebrate its new daily non-stop service to Los Angles, California during the inaugural flight event on March 31, 2019. Los Angeles is one of 19 non-stop destinations from Madison.
New non-stop flights have played a significant factor in passenger traffic. In 2018, DCRA launched five non-stop destinations including: San Francisco, Philadelphia, Fort Myers, Tampa, and Phoenix. The airport also experienced its best year yet in passenger traffic in 2018 with over 2 million passengers traveling through Madison. Since the launch of several advertising campaigns that were developed by AFFIRM including STOP THE SCHLEP! In 2012, WHO KNEW?! in 2015, and FLY LOCAL in 2017, DCRA has seen steady increases in the number of travelers both in and out of the airport.
