Recently, I had almost the exact same conversation with two different people. Both times, it went something like this:
PERSON: *sigh* I need to dedicate way more time to my business’s social media. Too bad I don’t have the time…
ME: Did you know you can schedule your posts for a later time/date?
ME: It’s true! Facebook Pages allows you to schedule posts in advance. Meaning you can get your week or even month’s worth of posts set up in a matter of minutes, and never think about it again!
If you weren’t already aware, Facebook Pages makes it so easy to create a post and schedule it to publish in the future.
The first step: make sure your organization/business is set up as a Facebook PAGE (see this blog if you’re confused on pages vs Pages).
The next steps go like this:
- Start creating your post at the top of your Page’s Timeline
- Click next to Publish and select Schedule
- Below Publication, select the date and time when you want the post to publish
- Click Schedule
VOILA! It’s THAT easy!
