How I started in this business:

I took a Theory and Practice of Persuasion class in college and fell in love. It was fascinating to see the psychology behind how minor details like imagery or wording can evoke different emotions. I have also enjoyed writing and storytelling ever since I was young, so I wanted to be in an industry that incorporated those elements.

What I like most about my job:

I like that there is always something going on at the office. No two days are the same so I never get bored and I’m constantly learning new things. It’s also rewarding to work with people who are truly passionate about their careers and clients.

When I’m not at work:

I spend too much time watching Netflix with my four (yes, four) cats. Other than that, I’m an avid reader, dancer, and seasoned traveler. I go overboard for every holiday and love an excuse to dress up, drink wine, dance, and go out to eat.

Best advice I ever received:

“Choose the bigger life.” Too often I’ve passed on experiences because I’m busy, tired, scared, etc. It’s a reminder to not pass up opportunities for short-term comfort when you could be making great memories.

If I weren’t doing this:

I would be traveling as much as possible and hitting up all the tropical beaches. In my downtown, I would run a non-profit animal rescue where I could rescue pets and rehabilitate wild animals.

To me, Positively Engaging Marketing means:

I think positively engaging marketing means genuinely listening to your client and building a solid relationship. It means connecting and making a positive impact.
